Winter Warmers in 2018 - Save the dates

In August and September, we'll be hosting senior leaders here in New Zealand.  

'AAK' is a seasoned senior leader in the Pakistani Church.  Pakistan is the 5th most dangerous country in the world to be a follower of Jesus, as the periodic bombings and threats ascertain, but it is still estimated that there are between 2.9 and 4 million Christians living there. 'AAK' heads up one of our Partner Training Schools near Islamabad, and will be sharing with us what God is doing in the Church under pressure, and how leaders are rising up.

Chris Wright is no newcomer to New Zealand.  As International Ministries Director for Langham Partnership International since 2001, he represents the vision and work around the world through his speaking and writing. An ordained pastor in the Church of England, Chris spent five years teaching the Old Testament in India, and thirteen years as Academic Dean and then Principal of All Nations Christian College, in England.

Live, Listen, Tell: The Art of Preaching, by Geoff New

Written principally for preachers and church leaders in the Majority World where English is not the first language, Live, Listen, Tell: The Art of Preaching is an easy read but challenging too. While written for a different context - it nevertheless "reads" well in the Kiwi setting. The prayer disciplines described in the book are enjoying increasing use in NZ and so it provides guidance in that with sermon writing in view.

Geoff New is the Dean of Studies at the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership, and the co-ordinator of kiwi-made preaching an initiative of Langham Partnership New Zealand.
